Thor Quantum LC28 Exterior Tour & Light Switch Panel

A quick tour of the Quantum LC28’s exterior compartments, water and propane connections, fuel type, and the interior light switch panel.

Before You Drive the Vehicle

Be mindful of the Quantum LC28’s dimensions when navigating bridges, tunnels, and narrow passages:

  • Length: 30 feet

  • Height: 11 feet, 4 inches

  • Width: 10 feet (including mirrors)

Side view cameras on the driver and passenger sides let you see alongside the RV when using your turn signals. The view is displayed on the dash screen.

Driver Side Compartments

Behind the driver side door, you’ll find a row of exterior compartments. From front to back:

  • Wet storage where the sewer hose (stinky slinky) is kept.

  • Gas generator in the next compartment.

  • Black and gray tank flush system.

  • Propane connection points.

  • Open storage for the rest of your gear.

Water System (Rear Driver Side)

The water system sits at the rear driver side. The gravity fill is up top for refilling the fresh water tank, and the city water connection is just below for bypassing the fresh tank at hookup sites. When using city water, leave the water pump off.

The black tank flush is also here. Contact Blacksford’s team before using it.

Fuel

The gas tank door is located on the driver’s side below the water hookups. The LC28 requires unleaded gas only, E87 to E85. Do not use diesel fuel.

Passenger Side

The passenger side has an additional cargo access point, exterior propane (for fireplaces or other propane accessories), and another wet storage compartment.

Front Storage

There’s another wet storage compartment at the front of the vehicle.

Interior Light Switch Panel

When you open the entry door, the panel to your left controls the solar panel:

  • Main cabin light

  • Stair light

  • Cargo light

  • Under outside step light

  • Awning light and awning

Troubleshooting the Quantum LC28

No water flow from the gravity fill? Confirm the hose is fully inserted and the water source is turned on. Water will come out of the small overflow hole at the top once the tank is full.

No water inside the RV on city water? Confirm the hose is connected to the cone-shaped city water inlet, the water source is on, and the water pump is off.

Need to use the black tank flush? Contact the Blacksford team before operating it.

Can’t resolve your issue? Call the Blacksford manager’s phone number you received at check-in. They’re available 24/7.
