Winnebago EKKO Systems: Bathroom, Water & Propane
Everything you need to know about the EKKO’s bathroom, water controls, propane tanks, and lithium batteries.
EKKO Bathroom & Cassette Toilet
The Winnebago EKKO has an extra-large bathroom with a cassette toilet, window, medicine cabinet, and sink. To access the full shower, move the sliding wall.
For cassette toilet operation and dumping, see our cassette toilet guide.
Water System
The water pump switch and tank monitor panel are just outside the bath area. The monitor panel shows Fresh, Gray, and Battery levels in simple increments.
Switch on the water pump before using the sink, shower, or toilet
Monitor the gray tank level and plan to dump before it reaches full
To refill the fresh water tank:
Find the water closet on the driver’s side exterior
Insert your hose into the gravity fill port on top
When the tank is full, water will overflow from the top and bottom
Remove the hose and close the port
Below the gravity fill, you can switch between dry camping, power fill, and city water inlet
Propane
Two five-gallon propane tanks are stored on the passenger side before the cargo entrance. The propane powers your cooktop, hot water heater, and cabin heater.
Turn on the propane supply before using the stove or heating water. One tank is active at a time.
If you run out of propane:
Switch the meter to the other tank
Make sure that tank’s valve is turned on
Lithium Batteries
The EKKO has two lithium batteries to power your microwave, TV, and AC unit for up to 10-12 hours. We’ll help you download the Lithionics app to monitor the batteries.
To reset the batteries if they go into storage mode or become depleted:
Locate the blue button on the top left of the first battery
Press and hold until the light turns off
Wait 10 seconds
Press the button again to turn it back on
Troubleshooting: If a System Does Not Respond
No water? Check that the water pump is switched on and the Fresh tank is not empty.
Control panel has no power? Confirm the coach battery disconnect is on.
Propane appliances won’t light? Confirm the propane is turned on. Try lighting the stove first.
