Winnebago View 24D Interior: Slide-Out, Murphy Bed & Galley
Tour the Winnebago View 24D and learn how to operate the slide out and Murphy bed, plus kitchen and dinette features.
Inside the Winnebago View 24D
The View 24D’s main control panel sits above the refrigerator, with the slide-out button, inverter, and tank monitors all grouped together.
The 24D has a Murphy-style bed which functions as a couch during the day. The release switch for the bed is inside the bathroom. When lowered, you can access the window, outlets on both sides, and space to get on the bed from either the left or right.
The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, microwave, a propane burner, induction cooktop, and double sinks. A storage cabinet with drawers is located to the right of the refrigerator.
A TV and dinette complete the main living area. The dinette converts into a sleeping space, and there is also a bunk above the cab.
How to Extend the Slide-Out
Start the engine
Engage the parking brake
Confirm there’s room outside for the slide to move
Press and hold the slide-out button until the room stops moving
How to Lower the Murphy Bed
Find the bed switch on the inside right wall of the bathroom
Press and hold the switch as you guide the frame down with one hand
Release the switch mid-way down, pull out the bed legs and lock them into place
Press and hold the switch to lower the bed fully, until flat
Troubleshooting the Slide-Out
If the slide does not move, follow these steps:
Make sure the engine is running
Check that the parking brake is set
Confirm nothing is blocking the slide inside or outside
If it still won’t move, call the Blacksford manager’s phone number you received at check-in (they’re available 24/7).
