Winnebago View 24D Power: Inverter & Lithium Battery System
How the inverter and lithium batteries work in the Winnebago View 24D and 24J models, and what runs on battery power versus shore power.
Inverter Basics
The inverter is located above the propane and induction stove. It converts power from the Lithionics batteries to run larger appliances like the TV, microwave, induction stove, and AC (AC requires the generator).
When plugged into shore power, the inverter connects automatically—you don’t need to turn it on. When you’re not plugged in, you’ll need to power it on manually.
Using the Inverter
To power on the inverter:
Press the button on the inverter box
The screen will light up
You can now use outlets, TV, induction stove, and microwave
To power off, press the button again. Outlets and appliances will no longer work.
Turn off the inverter when you’re not using these appliances. Leaving it on will drain your batteries.
Troubleshooting
TV, microwave, or outlets not working? Make sure the inverter is powered on.
Inverter is on but appliances still won’t work? Check that your batteries are charged.
AC not working? The AC requires the generator to run. Start the generator first.
