Winnebago Solis Interior: Battery, Generator & Murphy Bed
This guide helps first-time renters use important Winnebago Solis PX’s interior controls like the coach battery, generator, main panel, and Murphy bed.
Winnebago Solis PX Interior Controls
Coach Battery & Light Switches
The button labeled Coach Battery (above the refrigerator) controls the main 12V power to the entire van. Keep it on with the green light illuminated to run interior systems like lights, the refrigerator, and water pump
Switches for the interior and porch lights are also above the refrigerator.
If power inside the van stops, check that the coach battery’s green light is still on.
Main Winnebago & Truma Panels
The main Winnebago Monitor Panel above the rear seats is the central command center for the generator and the water pump. This panel also has the LPG, Battery, and Gray displays, which show the respective levels for propane, the coach battery charge, and the gray water tank.
Near the main panel, the Truma Panel controls the cabin heater and hot water.
Glance at your coach battery and tank levels each evening so you know when to run the generator or dump tanks.
How to Start the Solis PX Generator
Park safely and make sure you aren’t plugged into shore power.
Hold STOP on the generator switch for a few seconds, then hold START until the generator turns on.
Let the generator run for a few minutes before using the air conditioner or microwave, then press STOP to shut it down.
How to Lower the Solis PX Murphy Bed
Stand at the rear doors with the bed in the upright position.
Pull back on the lock, then guide the bed down until it lines up with the counter height.
Flip the mattress section over so it lays flat, then lift the bed back up toward the wall when you are ready to travel.
To raise the mattress, reverse these steps
Troubleshooting: If the Generator or Bed Do Not Work
If interior power or the generator panel does not respond, confirm the coach battery button above the refrigerator is on and glowing green.
If the generator still will not start or the Murphy bed feels stuck, call the Blacksford manager’s phone number you received at check-in (they’re available 24/7).
