Nexus Triumph 24TS Entry: Awning, Steps & Solar

Quick guide to the entry door, awning controls, and solar panel monitor in the Nexus Triumph 24TS.

Nexus Triumph 24TS Entry Door & Screen

To enter the RV, pull the main door handle. The screen door is automatically attached when you open it.

To separate the screen from the main door:

  • Push down on the screen latch handle.

  • Close the slider panel and close the screen door naturally.

To connect the screen to the main door, open the slider panel, connect the screen to the door frame and it will automatically latch into place.

The door also has a deadbolt lock for added security.

Awning & Light Controls

Find the control panel just above the stairs to the left as you enter. It has switches for the living room light, porch light (also controls the awning lights), and awning extend/retract.

Before using the awning, keep these in mind:

  • Do not leave the awning extended when you’re away from the RV.

  • Retract the awning in high winds.

  • Even in light winds, retract the awning to prevent damage.

  • Always retract the awning before driving.

Solar Panel

The Nexus Triumph 24TS has one solar panel on the roof that helps charge your coach batteries. Monitor charging status on the interior panel near the entry door.

To check your house battery and solar status:

  • Press the “Battery” or “Batt” button. LEDs will light up showing Low (L), Fair (F), Good (G), or Charged (C).

  • If you’re in direct sunlight and the Charged light is on or voltage reads above 13.2V, the solar panel is actively charging your batteries.

Troubleshooting: Awning & Lights

Awning or lights not working? Check that you’re using the correct switch on the control panel at the base of the cabinet, near the door.

Awning won’t retract? Make sure nothing is blocking the path and try the control again.

If the issue continues, call the Blacksford manager’s phone number you received at check‑in. They’re available 24/7.
