How to Dump Solis PX Cassette Toilet and Gray Tank

To empty the Solis PX’s waste systems, work in two stages:

  1. Drain the gray tank (sink/shower water), then

  2. Empty and reseat the cassette toilet

Keep your pace steady and deliberate—rushing is what causes most messes.

How to Drain the Gray Tank

Pull up to the dump point and follow these steps:

  1. Connect your hose, and insert it into the dump site inlet.

  2. Locate the gray valve on the service side and pull the valve to start the drain.

  3. When it’s completely empty, close the valve, disconnect your hose, and store it.

How to Empty the Cassette Toilet

  1. Open the exterior compartment.

  2. Slide the cassette straight out using the built-in handle (it holds about 5 gallons).

  3. Keep it level as you carry it to the dump point.

  4. Tip it smoothly to pour out the contents in a controlled stream.

  5. When it’s empty, slide the cassette back in on its tracks until it seats.

Simple Habits to Make Dump Stops Easy

Think “set up once, finish fully.” Connect and insert the gray tank hose before you touch the gray valve. Let the tank drain completely, then close the valve before disconnecting.

Treat the cassette as a separate, second task. A final 30-second check—valve closed, hose put away, cassette seated—prevents any on-the-road surprises.

What if it Doesn’t Work?

Stay calm and work the steps above in order.

For slow gray tank drainage, confirm you pulled the gray valve fully and that the hose is inserted into the dump inlet.

If the cassette won’t seat, re-align it on the tracks and try again; don’t force the door.

If that doesn’t solve it, call the Manager on Duty using the number in your Blacksford arrival packet and let them know which checks you’ve already tried.
