About the position

We are hiring for the position of Multi-Market Manager for Blacksford.  This is the leader of the national multi-market operations and has day-to-day responsibilities for all aspects of the business in designated markets.  This role has direct reporting to the Blacksford Leadership Team but also has generally liberal and autonomous working conditions.  

Required Experience

  • Minimum of High School diploma / GED required with a Bachelors Degree being preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing high quality customer service in managing a multi-market rental vehicle environment.

  • 25 years of age or older

  • Valid drivers license and good driving record.

  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that can include evenings, holidays and overnight shifts.

  • Technology savvy (iPhone, iPad, Android)

  • Be comfortable using technology to communicate with customers

  • Experience interacting with customers in an airport service environment.

  • Exhibit superior driving skills, mindful of the customer’s comfort level

  • Designated market profitability management

  • Sales Management

Expected Duties

  • Full time position (40-50 hours/week), including evenings and weekends

  • All duties of Branch Operations Manager

  • Daily interaction with branch staff

  • Hiring and firing of branch staff

  • Daily interaction with Book Keeper for all branch financial matters

  • First line of communications with airport leadership

  • New market on-boarding and planning

  • Seasonal sale of vehicles to RV Dealer Partners or general public

Occasional Duties

  • Wash, detail and prepare vehicles, including exterior washing, detailing interior and exterior, refueling and customer preference resets.

  • Shuttle vehicles between fuel station, car wash and vehicle prep/customer pick up area, as well as same city locations and dealership for general maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

  • Prepare new and/or transferred vehicles for service upon delivery.

  • Prepare vehicles for service before transport to alternate locations.

  • Driving a vehicle, potentially in heavy traffic conditions, day and/or night hours, frequently, including the ability to see with normal or corrected vision
